Aluminum Composite Panels or usually known as ACP are flat panels that made up of rubber and aluminum. Initially, ACP consisted of 2 layers only, the layers being rubber and aluminum. Aluminum sheet layer was on the front side and exposed to external surroundings while rubber was used as the inner layer as it made installation easier.
But over a period, an additional layer of an aluminum sheet has been added. Hence, the rubber layer is sandwiched with an aluminum sheet on either side. The thickness, technically called gauge, of both these sheets, may vary accordingly. There are many Aluminium Composite Panel Manufacturers.
Aluminum is very light in weight when compared to steel.
A highly durable material primarily because of a hard coating that is used as a cover to the aluminum surface to avoid its reaction with air.
It is available in a variety of colors, patterns, and can be cut into the required shape.
Being lightweight, it is easy to process and has replaced the use of heavier and more expensive materials.
It is fire-resistant, hence keeps the interiors of the building safe.
ACP sheets can be re-used and are easy to maintain.
They are treated with waterproofing material. Therefore, they are not affected by water.
It also has excellent resistance to corrosion, moisture, and pollution.
