Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment therapy that uses extracts from natural plants to promote health and well-being. Sometimes it is also called essential oil therapy. Aroma essential oil are used medicinally in aromatherapy to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical as well as emotional health. Aromatherapy is considered both as an art and a science.
Recently, this treatment has gained more recognition and is being widely used in the fields of science and medicine. People generally use the most popular oils. Each essential oil has a range of unique healing properties, uses, and effects. Combining these essential oils to create a synergistic blend that creates more benefits for the user.
You can use essential oils in several ways. For example, you can add them to body lotions or carrier oils, and then apply them on to the skin. Try enhancing a facial toner, shampoo, or conditioner by adding essential oils. Or incorporate them into toothpaste, liquid soap, or mouthwash. You can also diffuse or spritz the oils in a room or pour them into a bath.
