Eligibility

If you are looking to pursue your career in hotel management, then there is a certain eligibility criterion that you must fulfill in order to join the courses. 

Certificate Course: The certificate courses are typically short-term courses that go on for a duration of six months to one year. The candidates can pursue these courses after the completion of their 12th class.

Diploma Course: A candidate should pass class 10th or 12th with an aggregate of 40% marks while having English as a compulsory subject.

Degree Course: for an undergraduate degree in hotel management, the candidate must be 12th passed with a minimum of 50% and having English as a compulsory subject.

Postgraduate Degree Course: After completing an undergraduate degree program, the candidate can opt for a postgraduate program. The basic eligibility requirement to fulfill for this program is an aggregate of 45% marks in graduation from a recognized university.


Admission

The admission to the different courses in hotel management is based entirely on the hotel management entrance exam. The selection into these courses is based on NCHMCT JEE, which is conducted in April of every year. The application for the same will be out in December. Apart from this, there are several other hotel management entrance examinations which are conducted by the big hotel chains for admission in their own training institutes.
