A pressure switch is a very common device that is used in any plant. Its technology has evolved over the years due to its importance. These switches are used to interface hydraulic or pneumatic systems with electrical control systems by closing or opening electrical contacts in response to pressure changes in the system.
They have excellent drift performance and repeatability. Their efficient design uses low mass, durable components for outstanding performance under heavy duty shock conditions and vibrations. There are several designs for pressure switches, but the most commonly used designs are piston and diaphragm actuated switches.

can usually be used in any application that involves opening and closing of electrical contacts in response to a pressure change in the system, within the electrical and pressure ratings of the switch. They are used in a wide range of applications such as:
- HVAC equipment
- Compressed Air Systems
- Process Equipment
- Pumping Systems, and so on.
